Take Courage

The other day Jeanne Oliver asked on her Facebook page “What do you want more of in your life?”  My answer was COURAGE.  The past year or so I have been struggling in so many areas of my life.  I have felt so full of fear.  I let it overtake me.  The definition of COURAGE is the ability to overcome something that frightens someone.  It may sound extreme but somedays I need COURAGE just to get up and face the day.  In a few short weeks I am turning 35.  I am determined to face this next year BRAVE and COURAGEOUS.  I will find strength in my God, my family, my friends.  I will look for things to look forward to and be thankful for, rather than things to be fearful of.

Last year I lost one of my very best friends to cancer.  She was 35.  She was so BRAVE.  So COURAGEOUS.  In honor of my dear friend, whose birthday is today, I am choosing to be full of COURAGE.  I invite you to join me.  And as a way to kickstart this next year I am hosting a birthday party of sorts. I know an amazing artist, Leslie Ackman,  who is going to lead us in an art class.  We will laugh and create and eat.  The cost of the class is only $15 to be paid that night.  I do need an RSVP.  There will be goodies to win and goodies to eat.  Join me at The Art Experience in Maryville, MO on Friday November 15, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.  I can’t wait to celebrate with you!
